Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Operational Analyst will:
- Analyze mission context, threat-informed scenarios, operator workflows, command relationships, and current operational practices associated with assigned projects.
- Develop and refine mission threads, operational hypotheses, employment concepts, assumptions, dependencies, and operational measures with the project pod.
- Assess operational utility, usability, integration friction, degraded-mode behavior, and non-materiel implications of emerging capabilities.
- Support REX/event observations, operator interviews, industry discussions, and evidence synthesis as required.
- Draft and refine CAR content, TTPs, CONOPS, CONEMPs, and other non-materiel products with the broader project team.
Required Skills and Experience
- 6 years of relevant experience required.
- Experience in joint/Service operations, operational planning, mission analysis, experimentation, assessment, doctrine, or related warfighter support.
- Ability to convert operational observations into structured analysis and concise written products.
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort working with engineers, data analysts, operators, and senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of mission threads, operational architectures, measures, and DOTmLPF-P considerations.
