Position Overview
The REX Integration Analyst connects project analytical objectives to REX planning and execution. When a project is part of a REX event, this role ensures the event generates evidence that answers the project question rather than becoming a stand-alone technology demonstration.
Why the Role Is Needed
The role connects experimentation activity to the evidence Assessments needs. Early planning and configuration tracking make event observations usable in subsequent analysis and reduce gaps that are costly to resolve after an event.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The REX Integration Analyst will:
- Translate project questions into REX objectives, scenarios, measures, observation plans, data needs, and event-specific coordination requirements.
- Coordinate with REX planners, industry partners, operators, evaluators, ranges/sites, and project stakeholders before and during event execution.
- Track system configuration, event conditions, operational context, and evidence provenance so post-event findings remain defensible.
- Support on-site observation, daily synthesis, quick-look reporting, evidence collection, technical interviews, and post-event data reconciliation.
- Contribute directly to CARs, TTPs, CONOPS, CONEMPs, and other non-materiel products by translating event evidence into operational implications.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5 years of relevant experience required.
- Experience supporting military exercises, experiments, demonstrations, assessments, operational events, field evaluations, or range activities.
- Experience in command and control, operations and operations planning, system acquisition, and systems engineering and analysis.
- Technology Readiness Experimentation experience.
- Strong planning and coordination skills across government, operator, technical, and industry stakeholders.
- Ability to connect event observations to mission-level questions, measures, and analytical conclusions.
- Comfort operating in fast-moving field environments and producing timely, accurate written products.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (systems, math, science, engineering, computer science, or a related technical field).
- Master’s degree in a technical field (systems, math, science, engineering, computer science, or a related technical field) preferred.
