Position Summary
PAC Group LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial / Audit Readiness Analyst to support financial management, audit readiness, compliance, and remediation efforts. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong finance background, experience supporting audit readiness or remediation initiatives, and hands-on knowledge of GFEBS and financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will also bring strong data analysis skills, experience with Power BI, and a solid understanding of internal controls, reconciliations, and federal financial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support audit readiness and remediation activities, including documentation review, walkthroughs, corrective action tracking, and response to audit requests
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, discrepancies, risks, and areas requiring corrective action
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI to support leadership decision-making
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance across financial systems and reporting tools
- Assist in the implementation, testing, and monitoring of internal controls and process improvements
- Support the preparation and maintenance of audit artifacts, standard operating procedures, and financial documentation
- Collaborate with finance, audit, IT, and program stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy and readiness posture
- Extract, transform, and analyze data from GFEBS and other ERP systems to support financial reporting and compliance
- Monitor the status of audit findings, remediation plans, and readiness milestones
- Provide support for financial analysis and reporting in alignment with organizational and client requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, audit readiness, audit remediation, accounting support, or financial compliance
- Strong finance background with knowledge of reconciliations, reporting, and internal controls
- Experience with GFEBS and financial data analysis in an ERP environment
- Proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, and reporting
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a hybrid environment
Preferred Qualifications
- CISA certification required or strongly preferred
- Experience supporting federal or DoD financial management and audit initiatives
- Familiarity with audit standards, internal controls, and remediation frameworks
- Knowledge of federal financial guidance and compliance requirements
- Experience with additional analytics or reporting tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Python
