Position Overview
Team PAC Group LLC is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Designer to support our Buildings & Environments design practice. This role contributes to architectural, interior, branding, and facility modernization projects for government and commercial clients. The CAD Designer will work closely with interior designers, architects, production designers, and project managers throughout the design lifecycle.
The ideal candidate is comfortable producing and revising construction-ready drawings, incorporating redlines, and working within a quality-controlled, standards-driven design environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and develop architectural drawings and documentation using Autodesk Revit and CAD tools
- Assist senior designers and architects in the development of construction documents and design sets
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure drawings meet code, specification, and client requirements
- Maintain organized file libraries and adhere to CAD standards and layer conventions
- Incorporate redlines and design changes accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate drawing updates with architects, designers, and consultants
- Ensure drawings meet company standards and project requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience as a Junior Architect or equivalent experience supporting architectural design projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD required, with strong Autodesk Revit experience
- Familiarity with architectural drawing sets, building codes, and construction documentation
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Drafting Technology, or a related field
- Experience working within an architectural or design firm environment
- BIM experience preferred
- Relevant certifications are a plus, including Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP), NCIDQ for interior-focused roles, or similar credentials
