Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Public Trust suitability determination (Tier 2 background investigation).  Must currently reside in the United States or its territories and have resided in the United States or its territories for at least three of the past five years.

Position Overview

Team PAC Group LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to support the U.S. Coast Guard’s CG ASC Integrated Program Management and Information Technology Services effort in Washington, D.C.

The Senior Engineer will serve as the lead technical authority for Microsoft Power Platform development, providing end-to-end solution architecture, technical leadership, enterprise application development, systems integration, and governance. The selected candidate will lead technical efforts supporting the modernization of Coast Guard business operations through enterprise applications and automation.

This position will provide on-site support at U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters and will work closely with Government stakeholders and technical team members to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, sustainable, and aligned with CG ASC mission and business transformation objectives.

 

Employment is contingent upon contract award to Team PAC Group LLC.

 

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Solution Architecture

  • Serve as the lead technical authority for Microsoft Power Platform development.
  • Oversee end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise-scale applications.
  • Provide technical leadership across solution architecture, enterprise application development, and systems integration.
  • Lead the design and deployment of enterprise applications and automation solutions.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks, technical standards, and development best practices for Power Platform solutions.
  • Ensure solutions are designed for security, scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Provide technical direction to Power Platform and robotic process automation engineering personnel.
  • Evaluate technical approaches and recommend solutions aligned with CG ASC requirements and strategic objectives.

Enterprise Application Development & Automation

  • Design and implement enterprise-scale applications using Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Support the development and deployment of business process automation and robotic process automation solutions.
  • Ensure applications and automations support modernization of manual business processes.
  • Integrate enterprise applications and systems to support efficient information flow and mission operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology, automation, and enterprise application solutions.
  • Ensure technical solutions satisfy Government requirements and applicable security considerations.

Governance, Security & Quality

  • Establish technical governance and development standards for Power Platform environments.
  • Ensure engineering activities follow established architectural and security requirements.
  • Review technical designs, development approaches, and solution implementations.
  • Identify technical risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Promote consistent engineering practices across the development team.
  • Ensure delivered solutions meet quality, performance, security, and mission requirements.

Program & Stakeholder Support

  • Work directly with CG ASC stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.
  • Translate mission and business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Provide technical briefings, recommendations, and status updates to Government stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with program management, engineering, business operations, and other technical personnel.
  • Support technical planning and implementation activities associated with CG ASC modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) with a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience; or
  • Master’s degree (MA/MS) with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience; or
  • Relevant expert-level technical certification, such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in lieu of a formal degree.
  • Relevant experience in solution architecture, enterprise application development, technical leadership, and systems integration.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience directly supporting Government agencies.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale solutions.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600) certification.
  • Experience providing technical leadership to engineering or application development teams.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and systems integration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with Government stakeholders and multidisciplinary technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting the U.S. Coast Guard or Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
  • Experience supporting federal enterprise application modernization initiatives.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform governance and enterprise deployments.
  • Experience with robotic process automation (RPA).
  • Experience leading large-scale business process automation initiatives.

Work Requirements

  • Full-time, 40-hour work week.
  • Core hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays.
  • Position is on-site at U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters, St. Elizabeths Campus, Washington, D.C.
  • Must be available to support Government meetings, technical working sessions, development activities, and other mission requirements on-site.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
