Construction Project Manager
Full-time: This is full-time hire, not a contract
Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 (based on experience)
Location: Seymour, Connecticut (On-site)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for providing both administrative and technical direction for one or more construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with design specifications. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with strong organizational skills, deep construction knowledge, and exceptional communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full construction effort, ensuring alignment with project design, budget, and timeline.
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of all company personnel assigned to the project(s).
- Develop work schedules, manpower plans, and determine material and equipment needs.
- Maintain official project logs and documentation.
- Direct on-site Superintendents to ensure timely, on-budget execution; address and resolve critical issues as needed.
- Oversee daily site operations, including scheduling, engineering, materials management, and staff supervision.
- Interpret construction drawings and provide technical guidance, including recommended construction methods and equipment.
- Enforce compliance with all safety protocols, project procedures, and work rules; document violations and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage the financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Represent the company in client and stakeholder meetings.
- Carry out additional assignments as directed by senior leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven leadership skills and a systematic, organized approach to project management.
- Strong understanding of construction practices, processes, and documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to foster strong team and client relationships.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
- Experience managing large or multiple construction projects.
- Willingness to conduct regular site visits and be actively involved on-site.
- Must have general contracting experience with multi-family affordable housing experience
- Able to complete large projects working with Superintendents and subcontractors.
- Must be able to create relationships very well.
- Must be very knowledgeable with certified payroll and associated reports and documents (this is required).
Other Information:
- The Project Manager may oversee one or multiple large-scale projects depending on the company’s needs.
