Position: Anesthesiologist (Board Certified/Board Eligible)

Location: On-site Dorn VA Healthcare System (Columbia, SC)

Contract Type: Full-Time

Positions: 5 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE)

Period of Performance: Base year of one (1) year with four (4) one-year option periods

Compensation: $300.00 per hour

Health & Welfare: $5.09 per hour if benefits are not provided

Clearance: No Secret Clearance Required


Team PAC Group LLC is seeking qualified Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologists to provide on-site anesthesiology physician services at the Dorn VA Healthcare System in Columbia, South Carolina, in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs.


Scope of Services

The Contractor’s physician(s) shall provide Anesthesiology Physician Services on-site in accordance with VA policies, procedures, clinical standards, and Facility Medical Staff Bylaws to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs.


Minimum Qualifications (VA Evaluation Aligned)

Education:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Licensure:

  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
  • Physicians with any history of restricted, suspended, revoked, surrendered, or denied licensure will not be considered

Board Certification:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA)

Clinical Experience (REQUIRED):

  • Minimum of five (5) years of recent clinical anesthesiology experience following completion of residency
  • Experience must be sufficient to support VA credentialing and privileging requirements

Certifications:

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Credentialing & Privileging:

  • Must meet all credentialing and privileging requirements in accordance with VHA Directives 1100.20 and 1100.21
  • No services may be rendered until privileges are approved by the Facility Medical Executive Board and the Medical Center Director

Technical Proficiency:

  • Demonstrated clinical competency in anesthesiology
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently

Training Requirements:

  • Completion of all VA-mandated training, including EHR, BLS/ACLS, and other required educational modules

Citizenship:

  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card) in compliance with Immigration and Nationality Act and E-Verify requirements

Professional Responsibilities

  • Deliver anesthesia services in compliance with VA standards of care
  • Maintain active licensure, certifications, and required continuing medical education (CME)
  • Adhere to all VA Medical Staff Bylaws, rules, and regulations
  • Provide documentation as required to support credentialing, privileging, and re-privileging
